Columbia Cottage Linglestown is our newest premium Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. This is the only Columbia Cottage location with a secure memory care neighborhood. The state of art assisted living and memory care community is located on the old Blue Ridge Golf Course Linglestown. Our community offers a home like environment which is close to family, lifelong friends, and community. We realize how important it is to maintain relationships in the community and continue to be involved and connected to religious organizations, shopping, and healthcare providers.

Our staff work hard to cultivate relationships with our residents and families to make our community the best! Resident, families, and visitors can enjoy nature and great conversations in our sunroom, common areas, beautiful courtyards, ice-cream parlor, and small general store. All our meals are created from scratch by our Chefs in our state-of-the-art production kitchen. We consider each residents personal tastes and preferences determined from our food assessment. Meals are served restaurant style to enhance the dining room experience. In addition, each neighborhood has a dedicated pantry and country kitchen available. What Our Guests Have to Say

					We had our parents in several facilities that were anything but good.   Truly thankful we found Columbia Cottages.  Karen and the staff there were absolutely wonderful. We no longer had to worry about their well being.  Karen runs a tight ship and if there is a day they are short staffed, management steps up and helps. The food was delicious. I ate there a couple of times.   The facility is clean and well maintained.I would highly recommend this facility.

						My mother has been a resident of Columbia Cottage for the past 6 months. She started out in the memory care unit. All of the caregivers were so kind. 					I have a friend in the dementia unit that Tracey is in charge of. It's beautiful,  the caregiver are amazing, loving, caring and it really matters to the caregiver how  the residents look everyday. Thanks Tracey to putting your heart into it. The unit is perfect, much better than Harmony. This is my opinion from experiencing both places.The variety of lunch menu is outstanding. The facilities food look as if a gourmet chef cook it. 						I have a friend in the dementia unit that Tracey is in charge of. It's beautiful,  the caregiver are amazing, loving, caring and it really matters to the caregiver how  the residents look everyday. Thanks Tracey to putting your heart into it. The unit is perfect, much better than Harmony. This is my opinion from experiencing both places.The variety of lunch menu is outstanding. The facilities food look as if a gourmet chef cook it. The residents in the dementia unit are always 😊.  Columbia Cottage is always clean. Thank you guys for having a Great Place for our Elderly.

					We chose Columbia Cottage for my Mom because the burden of finding reliable in home care was extremely difficult. We knew we couldn’t keep her safe at home anymore. It was a daunting move because my Mom had lived on our family property nearly her entire life. I am very grateful to Columbia Cottage care takers and staff for the tremendous support they have shown my Mom in making this transition. Mom receives OT, PT, nursing, podiatry, salon and doctor services here. She is encouraged to make friends at meals and in activities. Her days are full of opportunities to attend classes and activities ran by a wonderful social director, Lawrence. This past week I flew in to spend time with my mom and during the week I was able to participate in activities such as: Mother’s Day Tea, two musical concerts, stretching, mobility, birthday party, study session on local history, family feud, bingo and a craft class. I see evidence of resident gardening in the courtyards. I hear tales of baby ducklings in the courtyard. With two social activities a day the residents are given every opportunity get out and expand their circle. Mom is adjusting well to the routine and her health is monitored and good. Her apartment is clean and her clothes and bed are regularly washed, made and folded. For all these things I am so very grateful.

						I went to take a dear friend who is a resident at Columbia Cottages of Linglestown out for lunch. After lunch she took me for a tour. The home is beautiful and wants for nothing for those who want all the amenities of home in addition to companionship of others of a similar age. Beautifully decorated, bright, cheerful with a very serene atmosphere.

The facility is absolutely beautiful - it’s clean and bright, and looks like someone’s home rather than a facility.  But most importantly, the management and staff are fabulous.   The facility manager, memory care manager, nurses and aids are all such great people, and they treat my mother with kindness and compassion.  We have seen a very positive change in her since she moved in - she is happy, engaged, and very well cared for.  Moving her to Columbia Cottage Linglestown was the best decision we could ever made!

						This past Fall we moved my mother from Messiah Lifeways Memory Care to Columbia Cottage Linglestown Memory Care.  The facility is absolutely beautiful - it’s clean and bright, and looks like someone’s home rather than a facility.  But most importantly, the management and staff are fabulous.   The facility manager, memory care manager, nurses and aids are all such great people, and they treat my mother with kindness and compassion.  We have seen a very positive change in her since she moved in - she is happy, engaged, and very well cared for.  Moving her to Columbia Cottage Linglestown was the best decision we could ever made!

This facility feels like you are at the Hilton or five star resort !    The place is beautifully decorated!    The new staff that we have met since he moved in on Tuesday have all been so attentive and kind!   Kimmie has been so in tune with my dad's medical needs.  Tia is unbelievable.   she is so talented.  the food has been amazing and she even made my dad's favorite dessert recipe that he missed that his mother made for him which is Milk pie!   The food is fresh and always looks amazing. The new tenants already feel like family to us.  We are so blessed to no longer worry about dad overnight because he is in great hands !   i can't thank the staff enough for welcoming our family into this place and making us feel like home. !   We have had the most amazing experience so far and we would highly recommend this place for your loved ones !   We felt like family from the first time we met with Karen to see the rooms and you won't be disappointed if you come for a visit !

When we toured Columbia Cottage we knew that this was the perfect place for our Mom. You don’t feel like you are in a facility, more like a very upscale hotel with a homey feel. The rooms are a little bit small, but we managed, and she has everything that she needs and her room definitely looks like a mini version of her home. The staff has been superb!! The director, Karen, is a pleasure to work with and seems to truly care about the residents. Cindy, the program director has such an upbeat personality and makes everyone feel special and important. Kimmie is the RN and she is so professional yet very easy to speak to.  Last, but certainly not least is Tia the chef!! What a gem she is, not to mention a delicious cook! My mom is not the easiest person to make happy and to hear her say that she is happy makes my heart full! She is not alone all day long with nothing to do, here she is looking forward to the programs planned and getting to know her new neighbors. Thank you Columbia Cottage for setting a higher standard by offering a beautiful place that my mother calls home!
